Throughout the entire history of the human race, there have been people, myths and legends which are strikingly similar the man sitting in the chair said, sipping from a glass of amber liquid
From person to person, society to society, country to country and even religion to religion, there are stories and ideas, although slightly different bare remarkable similarities he continued
Is this going somewhere? a short, grey haired man asked irritably
Patience my dear friend the man in the chair said quietly
The short, grey haired man heaved a great sigh and sat opposite him, next to a tall dark haired woman who was giving the man her utmost attention.
As I was saying
the man began
Take religions for example, all forms of religion have a deity or deities, they may have different names and look different but the principle is just the same, they were here before us and created everything in existence, they are immortal and are ever watching us, even in non-religious society we talk about mother nature as if it is a higher being controlling things out of even human control he continued
Ancient drawings depict beings from foreign worlds, myths of extra-terrestrials assisting in the development of cultures, myths and legends of creatures both foul and magnificent, is it so hard to believe these ancient beings were in fact creatures like our elephant or rhino or even dinosaur from another world?
The only way to explain these similarities is that they are all based on a fact. A fact that has stemmed off to many areas each taking its own little piece of the truth, scattering an ancient knowledge on the wind he paused for a moment to take a sip from his glass
Messiah figures, bases of law and order, good and evil, ying and yang, these are concepts shared by just about every culture in existence he said
But one thing that has been noticed as of late by scientists and fanatics alike is a fundamental similarities in beliefs on metal powers, powers thought only to be mythic because of there sheer magnitude
Chi, Magic, Arcane, Chakra and Paranormal abilities even though have slight differences in terms or where they originate but essentially how to invoke them falls under the same thing, power lies in the mind or the soul. It is usually invoked by powerful emotions at first but after practice can be invoked at will
Again all powers of thousands of legends are all alike, the ability to control the elements, fire, water, earth, air, lightning. Manipulate the world around you with your mind. Time travel, teleportation, levitation. All these things are explained in different ways but hold many things in common that again can only be explained by there being a single fact underlying all the beliefs
Consider unto this the limitless potential for human imagination as well as the fact that humans only use around ten percent of their brain power at all times, would it be so hard to consider the possibility that we were the gods that people worship. Is it so hard to consider that possibly these gods were merely humans that had developed abilities that no one else had developed?
Consider that in the last century more and more people have reported being able to conjure up paranormal abilities than in any other time, they may be fakers but another possibility could be that as religion has lost its power over people, the masses have begun to freely develop their mind and soul. It may not be coincidence that people under the rule of religions and gods were taught that the gods they worshipped were the only true gods, this would prevent people developing abilities of a magnitude as to oppose their so called gods. But I believe it was intentional to literally repress the people who worshipped them so no one would dare stand up to them and say otherwise. So as religion has lost its grip people have come to believe in themselves and understand God has no plan for them, they can carve themselves a destiny of their own, nothing is impossible. The discovery of people who have developing abilities also encourages those without to attempt it themselves.
So given all that I have told you, is it too impossible to consider that we mere mortal humans can develop into almighty immortal gods. I ask you this
could we be facing an Age of Gods?
